The only 'Platinum 8 track cartridge'

I believe the Saturday Night Fever album was the only album ever to obtain Platinum sales of an 8 track Cartridge. For my younger readers this format came out just after cassette and competed for a while as a system for in-car entertainment and was later included in some hi-fi systems. The quality was actually better than cassette as the cartridge contained 1/2 inch tape running at 3 3/4 ips. This surely must now be a collectors item?
